lower the price... harsh but its the only way you will sell...

Desperate times. Nobody wants to spend.
Have you checked out a price guide?
Are you asking too much?

Have a look at what price other cars similar to yours are going for.

:-)
Stick it in an auction.

You won't get much, but at least you will be shot of it.
Yes, I can recommend a car auction. If you put it in without reserve then it will surely sell. I sold mine for about a third of what I paid for it 2 years earlier, and I had spent loads on it as well, more than the price of the car initially.
Question Author
what car auctions that?
Have a look in your local paper. there should be a car auction close too you somewhere.
Try Googling or Yell.com to find auction sites.
Please specify make model colour age how many doors etc and then I can understand a bit more about the car.

The fact there was only 500 made means the insurance is going to be higher and spares harder to find (hence the higher insurance premiums). That is one fact that makes it hard to sell in the current climate.

If you advertise it at the proper price it will sell. 90,000 miles for a petrol engine is high - 60000 miles is average milage for a car that age.
Question Author
so how much would you consider it to be then.? the car was a company car that is why the mileage is so high
Has the car got a service history with it?
If so then this will ease people's worries about mileage.

Trouble is with the petrol prices being so high you will be hard pushed to sell a car with this type of engine and in this size range.

You may be better off trying to advertise it in one of the car mags like Max power or something I'm sure someone out there will want it.
