my partner has been trying to sell his car for months now and has had no luck. we have put it on all websites, newspapers, ebay autotrader etc but nothing. noone seems interested. can anyone help?????
Yes, I can recommend a car auction. If you put it in without reserve then it will surely sell. I sold mine for about a third of what I paid for it 2 years earlier, and I had spent loads on it as well, more than the price of the car initially.
its a vauxhall astra 2 litre turbo 2002. only five hundred were made. good condition just that mileage is rather high at 90000. paid 4800 for it bout 4 months ago but need to sell asap been offered cars but insurance is still too high
well thats what it was valued at at the time. there is only five hundred about remember and no it is not convertible with the bluetooth etc it is a vauxhall astra sri 2 litre turbo not coupe
The fact there was only 500 made means the insurance is going to be higher and spares harder to find (hence the higher insurance premiums). That is one fact that makes it hard to sell in the current climate.
If you advertise it at the proper price it will sell. 90,000 miles for a petrol engine is high - 60000 miles is average milage for a car that age.
