Disabled badge

does anyone know how to get a disabled badge, i have a 91 year old grandad who is still driving, but has difficutly walking far, when shopping for food etc, so was wondering of the process and eligability for getting a disabled badge, any advice would be gratefully appreciated

Blue badges are given out like gold dust richard. My uncle had 2 artificial knees so he applied for a disabled badge and was turned down twice. He appealed each time and one unfeeling assesor told him " With those new artificial knees you should be walking better than ever". Needless to say, my uncle appealed again and at last got the badge. If you're acting for your grandad dont give up,appeal no matter how long it takes. Some people get then with far lesser problems,,how I dont know. Good luck.
