renault [scenic megane Y reg] electric windows
My window got stuck way up. Motor still runs, so not the fuse. Managed to get the trim off, and coax the glass up by hand, its not secure tho. Can't afford the garage this week, must I invest in a copy of the Haynes manual [Local library haven't got in in the system], to guide me or is there a steop by step site anyone knows of? Thanks

window regulator is cable controlled, what usually happens is that with wear and tear through time the cable starts to fray and james up the small wheels on the regulator.
the only cheap option is to take the dorr panel off, disenagage the window from the regulator and then prop the window up in the closed position with a peice of wood.
