Amsoil synthetic oil
Does the UK have an equivalent oil to this. It is recommended for vehicles with EGR valve problems. Many thanks.

Like you, BOL10X, I hadn't a clue what it was all about, however, if you put EGR valve into your search engine, you'll find a mine of info on the subject, even videos showing where it lives and how to replace it. My diesel isn't turbo-charged, so I got about 35,000mls before the heat lamp sign came up, but always with a reduction in power. A new valve cost me 180 plus labour, so I'm glad it didn't happen after just 6 weeks! Cheers, Liz.
