dashboard warning light

hi, can anybody tell me what the symbol of an engine with the letters EDC means, this symbol has come up on my dashboard after travelling about 6-7 miles, if i turn the engine off and restart the engine the light stays off but comes back on after a few miles and the truck losses power, down to about 40mph from 56mph

Is it an Iveco? If so EDC Stands for Electronic Diesel Control, A similar system to Fuel injection.
If the light is on steady, then Drive the vehicle with caution, but get it seen to as soon as possible. If the light is flashing, don't drive the vehicle, and get it checked out immediately.
