Does anyone know where my daughter can get finance to buy a new scooter please? She is currently on the Wheels to work scheme but her scooter has to go back next week. She only works part time so cannot get finance from a dealer. Is there a company who would do finance for her as she needs a scooter to get to work!

Why does her scooter have to go back??

On the Wheels to work scheme they are only allowed to keep them for six months although they have let her have it for a couple of months extra!
Im on a wheels to work scheme but mines for a year then I can buy it very cheaply! Are you sure she can't renew it or something like that?

Where are you cheater? We are under the Sheffield scheme and as far as I know she can only have it for six months and has not been told that she can buy it!
Fairly close to you, I'm in Buxton, on the derbyshire scheme. I'm not sure how much they differ from place to place. Thought they were mostly the same. What scooter did she get? Did she also get loads of freebies thrown in?

She started with a 50 Sym and then upgraded to a 100. She got free jacket, helmet and gloves. She paid a one off 50 and then 12 per month. Apparently that has gone up since then to 20 per month. I'll get her to ring them and see what they say.
Ah that maybe why I can buy mine at the end of the year then, mine is more expensive at 10 a week, so 520 for the year and then I can buy it for something like 80 which obviously will make it 600. Not bad though as I should get that back when I sell it. I've had it for just over a month now but they haven't taken a penny from my bank, so I'm not complainin'!

It took them ages to take her first payment as well. The have been irregular ever since! I think she owes about three months now!
