Mr Clutch

Anyone have any experience of Mr Clutch? Have an oldish Ford Mondeo which needs a new clutch. Online reviews are very mixed

It's franchise so each outlet depends on the franchisee. You need to specify the branch you are interested in.
There must be loads of independant guys around surely?

Wandsworth and Kingston are my nearest branches. Yup - lots of independent people but Mr Clutch looked fast and cheap

No reason why tyhey shoukld not be any good. Now you have sites maybe other ABers will know something of them?

My local branch of Mr Clutch is excellent. One man band- does nothing but change clutches all day. Quick efficient and value for money.

My clutch is on the way out (ford puma) and people on the puma forum don't speak highly of them. The best advice I can offer is to join a forum for your car and ask them.

Many, many years ago I had a 1.6 Vauxhall Belmont with a cream crackered clutch release bearing. Mr. Clutch in Stockport had it fixed before the butter melted on my crumpets. It lasted all of two weeks when a woman focussing her attention on lighting a Silk Cut crashed into the back of my Belmont with sufficient force to bend the boot floor in half.
