I ordered a new pair from a website and I have been sent two passenger side wipers. I would've thought a pair would mean one passenger side and one driver's side ...?

I've gone back to check the website and what I ordered was definitely a twin pack, but the driver side and passenger side wiper have the same item code.

I apologise in advance if I am being dense. Can anyone confirm that driver side and passenge side wipers for this car are the same?

Thanks!!

Thanks TWR. I'll have to phone the company I bought them from tomorrow.

My understanding of "a pair" is not two passenger side or two driver side - it's one of each. I would imagine that would be anyone's understanding ...?
You will find the Drivers side ( Off /Side) is the longer of the two, dont go for cheap Joey they tend to SCREECH on wiping.

I've bought a pair of Bosch wipers and the website I've bought them from say the driver and passenger side wipers are identical in length ... I'm confused ..!
Is the car handy? If so, measure them yourself. That's what I did recently.

Hi Gingejbee - I 've just checked another supplier's website and it seems that the wiper blades for my model of car are exactly the same length ..!

So I guess passenger side/driver side doesn't really matter because they are identical.
Joey, I'll stand to be corrected but I have a Coupe, the 2 are different lenghts, but they are bosch. If I've misled you Sorry/
Being a cheapskate, I purchased a pair from Lidl (different lengths) - made in Germany, £4.99 and quieter than the original ones- in fact, silent!

Oh no TWR, please don't apologise - I'm grateful to you for answering me at all lol ! Probably just me getting myself confused - it happens a lot ...!!
Question Author
Nice one Gingejbee - we all love a bargain lol. My existing ones are noisy as hell, so I hope the new ones are better. If not, I may have to visit Lidl myself!!
Joey, to save youself money, are your wiper blades split? are the rubbers splitting or are the noisey? If noisey on the wipe put some viniger on the rubber, Do not add chips though lol lol, that should cure the noise.
Question Author
Lol TWR - I'd never let any chips go ...!! Thanks for the tip x
