Where I rival the great despots of history for pure evil. Anyway I was up before those lovely people on my local bench this week. Reffering of course to predictions and perhaps even opinions of what should be the penalty for the most heinous of crimes, who would like to guess what actual punishment their worships dolled out? I would offer a prize for the first correct answer but there appears to be no mechanism for it here so I will offer my sincere congratulations to the winner. A clue, costs where £50.

I hope not too but it's appearing that way. I would have thought a hefty fine, 6 points and a speed awareness course but I have a feeling you got away with it.

The interesting thing V&C is, that they don't actually offer a speed awarenes cours to people who are speeding. You tend only to get those when they are least applicable, I mean 36 in a 30 for example, that's not speeding For Funks Sake! Now if you are doing proper speeding then the course is not offerred. That's like having a drink awareness course for having half of shandy but half a bottle of vodka? no course for you sunshine!

Perhaps I can help, the limit was 50 but the road in question is mostly a 70 and the 50 bit has no features to make it 50, ie road works etc. It is one of many inexplicable arbitrary limits that the cynic may associate with revenue collection. So it's not a case of tearing down a single carraigeway at 89.

Impossible to guess the fine because that should be worked out on based on salary/income. I'd say 4 points though.
