Why do Some Drivers Think
.. that supermarket carp park markings do not apply to them?
Just had a minor argument with a woman (!) who I decided to ask why she thought she shouldn't have given way to me at the give way markings on her side?
Apparently I speeded up - huh?? Irrelevant really, but if I had I'd have hit her
What is it with bad driving these days? I'm not saying I'm perfect, but I expect the person coming towards to at least have a licence!

These idiots don't drive round carefully at walking pace aware people are wandering around with trolleys, small children could dash out from between cars, other cars are manoeuvering etc. No - speed is king for these people! They'll race around and if you don't get out of their way then it's your fault if they hit you! It's alarming to often see that they are the same young women who race around breaking all the speed limits - with a child seat in the front seat and a dangly sign in the back saying "Beware - child on board!" No 30mph for them!
Well the only way to survive here is to go on the assumption that everyone else in the car park is a complete berk. You'll be right most of the time but once or twice you'll be pleasantly surprised. At least by looking both ways when pulling out onto a one-way section, you'll be aware of the berk going the wrong way.
It's alright saying "it wasn't my fault - I had right of way" when you're in hospital with a broken back and nobody is paying your bills because you didn't take the stupidity of the great unwashed into account.
