Could you please tell me if the speed record was broken by an electric car yesterday?

I don't know, but if you watch thr BBC 1 news they will have filmed the attempt yesterday to shoe today. It was supposed to be a live broadcast but apparently the 'elf and safety' did not show up on time so they could not run the trial. Good morning Robert, very few of us about. dtc

it is true ... a modified lotus exige - they named 'nemesis', broke the electric car land speed record yesterday .. achieving over 148mph .. at an old aerodrome in yorkshire.
