We bought a 4 year old qashqai a few weeks ago, we've noticed the electric windows go down ok but are very slow at coming back up, is this how they are supposed to be or are they faulty? Thanks in advance.

Some are maybe a little quicker, which makes us think its some kind of safety feature or as the posted link says its a design fault.
Contact Nissan Customers Service UK explain the fault with your car & that you are very upset that this car has not met up with your expectations.
They probably need lubrication, but I can't recommend how this is best done.
What normally gets done Hop, where the window runner is up to the sides of the window, get a small paint brush & add some oil to the recess of these (2) runners. but on the age of this car I do not think that is the cause.
