Travelling from Lincolnshire to Wiltshire tomorrow morning (Tuesday). Could anyone recommend an internet site which might show my expected weather/road conditions for the route, please. I often use the AA classic route planner but would like to add the following information, if poss.

Info like this is usually chargeable i.e. Tom Tom's 'Live' service which, when you plot a route, will tell you of incidents as you travel and plot diversion routes for you.

I'd check on the BBC website befor you set off

I think you will find most major roads and motorways are cleared of ice and snow thanks to the very good job done by the gritters. I travelled over 100 miles yesterday without a problem until I entered my final road which was off the main road.
as pdq1 says,
the feed back we are getting from our drivers is the same, main/major roads no problem..
What part of Linc's, how far are you from the A1? from the A1 you have direct routes, but that can changes depending on the weather & County.

Thanks all for your interest. (We are driving from just south of Grimsby to North Wiltshire (west of Swindon). I haven't found a website service providing weather conditions as well as route planning but appreciate the assistance provided by forum members.
