Ahh are you a new driver? My aunt has just recently started driving after getting her license and she too was scared of motorways and after two weeks of using she can't get enough of it and tries to now plan journeys which include her driving on the motorway so don't be afraid because if a 79 year old with bad eyesight and the beginning onset of alzeihmers can do it then anyone can!
Well i wouldn't think it would be particularly dangerous for an hgv, although your hgv would be particularly dangerous for pedestrians, cars, pets and especially cyclists.
What are your views on the new alarms they want to have as standard on all hgv's in the capital?
^Oops soory about the thread hijack, ill start me on thread. :)
Yes twr, it took her 2 years and a lot of money to get to this stage and she gets gp and eye checkups on a monthly basis to prove she's still legal to drive
Baldric we're used to it as everyone's amazed but she wears glasses and is quite coherrant but her long distance memory seems to be fading fastg, she hasn't been actually diagnosed with alzeihmers but it's looking that way according to gp

Not heard of that, regards HGVs & the public, the public take chances, be it Level Crossing, Zebra Crossings etc, they think the can walk straight out off the pavement when the traffic is near on it.
