The puma was never available as an automatic - I do know of a couple of cases where people have converted cars to auto - but I would not go near one. If somebody did it by replacing the gearbox with an automatic gearbox from an earlier fiesta (the puma is a fiesta with a sporty body) then these were known to be VERY unreliable

Thanks for the reply guys. I think I'm just going to take your advice tubeway and stay away from Puma automatics.
