Have just come across an old photograph of the family taken in a 1928 Morris oxford flat nosed 2 door coupe`.
Any idea how I might trace who owned it then. Thanks

Have tried the Morris Oxford owners club on car and classic uk,but couldnt see how to put the Reg no. In which is WL 4058.
This was just a long shot to find out who owned it as I found the photo in a family album but alas no family member is around to tell me who it belonged to. I have tried the DVLA and am waiting for reply.
Thanks for suggestions.

Oxy, Just off the ( M1) A426>>A4304, there was a garage in a village called "Husbands Bosworth" this garage use to sell old cars, the likes of the Morris Oxford>>Austin 7s & the likes, if the garage is still there & I'm sure if someone on here knows & lives in that area they will put you right on the name of that garage that may help you, your plight intriges me as I like a challenge, if there's any more info you can give Eg/ past Tax disks / Cars documentation / ID Plate, anything that has been left inside the car that can give clues.
Thanks TWR. for the added info. Thought you would like to know I have been in touch with DVLA and filled in forms with the info I have bearing in mind it is only an old photo I have of the family in this car.For a fee of £2.50 I am hopeful they will tell me who owned it and anything else relevant. May take a couple of weeks before I know so watch this space for an update.
