Mot Certificate

My partner cannot find his MOT certificate & cannot remember where he had it last done or when it is next due.
Does anyone know how I can find out when it was last done?

You could phone DVLA the MOT will be on their computer, or go to or phone the garage where the last MOT was done they may have a record of it.

Maybe he didn't get a paper copy, they're on computer. Does he remember which garage did it, they'll be able to tell him.

You can access MOT information for your vehicle by using the ref no. on your V5 log book here...

Its not rocket science.

You buy yourself a small unit of furniture with a couple of drawers in it.

You put all of your important paperwork in it relating to your bank, your car, gas , electricity, mortgage etc.

Then you know where all your important paperwork is when you need it.

Problem solved.

Thankyou VHG....I was looking for some help not a smart remark...just to let you know that we do have a filing cabinet & everything of any importance is filed away, but for some reason my partner must have taken it out at some point & it went astray...these things do happen sometimes!
