Traction Control
4 Answers
Why does my front wheel drive Kia Cee'd have a button to turn off the traction control? Why would I want to do that? If it was rear wheel drive I could understand it as it would let me do powerslides and doughnuts like I did in the Viva in my boy racer days. But putting an 'off' switch for TC on a front wheel drive car is akin to putting 'disaster' switch on the dash instead.

By turning the TC off you can maintain the engine revs better.
