In Car Camera
Does anyone use one of these, and what make is it. My commute to work is becoming more like wacky races every week and I would like to be able to record any potential incidents for insurance purposes.
Thanks in advance

Mine automatically powers up and starts recording with the vehicle ignition switch on – and powers down with the ignition off (powered via the cigar lighter socket). It cyclically over-writes the memory, so you can just forget it is there, doing its job.
My only concern is that when parked on the street, the local Crims will think the camera worth nicking, and smash a window – but it has not happened yet.

I bought the EPrance from Amazon - much more expensive than Hymie's. They make several versions eg, with built-in memory, with GPS etc, so a range of prices upwards of £60. So small it can be left in the car as it's hardly noticeable. Works a treat for me. Put "eprance" into Amazon for variants and prices and into UTube for a very detailed independent review.
As Hymie I have one in the front & Rear window, bought off ebay & fitted by an Auto Elec for Insurance Proof, these are wired into the Ign & go off 20 secs after the key is removed, if you decide to go for them, get an Auto Elec to fit them & get the invoice for your insurance. These cameras range from £15>>>>>>£25.
Hi shiznit, I bought one from ipixie, with GPS and records in HD, it was over the £100 mark but worth every penny when you have an accident that is not your fault, and I learned this from experience last December when a car came out of a side road into the side of me.
my insurance blamed me until they saw the footage.
if you do get one, I advise against telling your insurance for the poxy discount they give you, as if by chance you don't have it on one day and something happens, they will use that against you.
