Mention of The Allegro reminds of the big laugh when they were first introduced - early ones had squared off steering wheels!

Jeeez - I remember a point where my Dad had a Marina and my Mum had an Allergic - it was a shockingly difficult decision to know which one to 'borrow' ... the bus often looked an attractive option.
Morris Marina springs to my mind. They rusted that fast I think they were made under water:-)

If you remember Space 1999 that is.
Morris Maxi. The gear lever was like a stick in a bucket of sh1t:-)

No Hopkirk I don't, lol.
Another tribute to rust was the Triumph Herald. Really good engine & brilliant to work on, but they fell to bits.

Those cheese wedge Princess's ( and Ambassadors ) were good weren't they !.
My dad also had a Triumph Vitesse - twice as fast as a Herald, but unfortunately only the same (lack of) cornering capability.
