Anyone with a Honda Jazz who might know the answer to this question please.

What does it mean, when the dashboard shows a picture of a spanner and arrow to a car, with the letter [B] underneath it, and underneath all that is a picture of a sun and a star and a 3 figure number?

I will ring the garage in the morning and the manual is out in the car now so I wondered if anyone would know without me going out after it right now,

I would guess that the number is the number of days remaining until the car is due for a service. Not sure about the 'B' though - maybe the type of service?

Thank you scrunge999. You could well be right about the number of days before the next service is due as its not until January next. The car makes a pinging warning sound when its switched on now exactly like it does for a regular service.

I'll call the garage in the morning and sort it out. Thanks again
I think the B refers to the type of service required.

I called the garage this morning who confirmed it was nothing to worry about.

The B does mean the type of service fibonacci, the number means days til next service is due.

Apparently, this prompt should have been disabled at the last service.

Thanks for the help ABers.
