Painting Car Wing Mirrors Different Color

I currently have a volkswagen polo hatch in grey. I'd like to get the wing mirrors painted white. Anyone have any idea how much this cost? Is this something I could do myself following the steps correctly?

Probably easier to find a white car in a scrappers and just change the caps. If you look on YouTube there's instructional videos.

Mine are plastic, car spray paint from Poundland in white & red got me England flag ;)

Tamborine, what steps were involved? Any prepping/ sanding before applying the paint? And how did the final result look?

Be careful. Anything that alters the appearance of a car can be regarded as a 'modification' by insurers, risking higher premiums if you do tell them about it or a refusal to pay out on a claim (beyond their statutory third party obligation) if you don't.
