Bazile, If the car has a Fob, one only, there are sites that you can get a second one without going to the dealer, look on the Web for a Car replacement dealer in your area, around £30>>£40
i'm looking at someone's handbook who has a Ford Focus .
It says that you can programme a maximum of eight keys to use with your vehicle and goes on to give instructions .
Does that mean that you buy a blank remote for the Focus and you can then programme it yourself ?
You can do the same for Audis too Bazile, I got my fob off Ebay, programmed the remote to my car and got the key profile cut. One for the wife and a spare. I think that will allow 8 as well.
Please bear with me dont go away ( i can captain a starship) however things like spare keys i need help .
For the purposes of clarification - in the case of the ford Focus - you simply get (from ebay or elsewhere) a blank fob and blank key, get the key profile cut on it and simply do as that fellow does in the videofor the Ford Focus ; to programme it and your new remote control is ready to use ?
