Bikers
Once again a biker has had a road accident and the yellow posters go up "Think bike--think biker". Is it not time to rejig them with "Biker THINK"

Yes Bikers should think. I've been a keen motorcyclist for over forty years and I'm still alive, (touch wood). Many don't survive. It's the exhilaration riding brings that get many in trouble. What a shame that education seems to be wasted on some.

I totally agree, I said the very same words last week. My son drives for a living and has seen it all but last week he turned a corner in mid Wales and on his side of the road was a bike overtaking a car. He told me he has had some near misses in his time but this defied all odds, he has no idea how this biker lived, he was shook up and felt physically sick all day as to what might have been! He is an excellent driver and it shows but how would he have felt with that hanging over him if things had been different?
As an ex biker I'm inclined to agree with you,
There are some dodgy ones about, I was driving up from the West Country a good few years back and a biker pulled alongside and his pillion was trying to get stuff off the boot-lid rack (MGB) I changed speed a couple of times, they kept trying, so I pulled out a bit sharpish, they swung right to avoid me and went into a field at a rate of knots, never saw them again!
i totally agree last week i was drivinhg home minding my own business when this idiot on a motorbike tried to over take on my inside even though there was a parked car, he basically tried to squeeze through the gap but couldnt and he scratched my car and broke my wing mirror he sped off before i could get his number plate so the only way i will think bike is with expletives i cant share on here !!!
