I never use price comparison sites. I invite quotes from only Which?
Recommended Providers and decide accordingly. Basically, I'm not interested in cheap quotes which can equate with poor policies and customer service. (Admiral, for example...low prices, poor everything else).

They aren't all on price comparison sites? I always found Direct Line cheapest, although it didn't show up on those sites. Just automatically renew with them now, but it only goes up by pence, if at all.

i was surprised that my new quote from insurers was less than previous year and couldnt find better cover for any less so went with same firm, first time in years i have done this
