Nissan Leaf
I have not noticed these cars much before but three times this week, I have seen them on the M4 in South Wales, driving very slowly along the inside lane. They were three different cars on three different days.
So, I am presuming that the drivers were all trying to conserve power. As these are pure electric cars and not hybrids, can anyone tell me the point of owning one ? I have googled them and they have a range of about 124 miles, which is only about a third to a fourth of the normal range of a diesel or petrol powered car.
Seems daft to me to own a car that you have to drive so slowly, that it takes you ages to get anywhere !

Given the high initial price for the Leaf, if you factor in new batteries, we are looking at a very expensive car indeed. I quite simply cannot see the point in buying one.

Police? Really Tony, are you sure they are not the figment of your imagination? There are cars, marked Police which occasionally shriek past, well above the speed limit, blues and twos going like mad.
Are there real policemen in them? If the electric cars go that slowly they are definitely not here.

Baldric checked out your link, loads of 2 year old Leafs from £9000 to £12,000 so it looks like the price drops like a brick rather than Leaf.
Remember £35,000 new
But if you could pick one up for £9K and run it off solar power as the guy near me does, then as long as you just want a 'town car' it is free motoring
No road tax free fuel just insurance to pay.
