Is there any recommended android phone apps that will log the route my car takes? Even though I use a satnav it often takes me different route between the same two points even though all settings are the same. It doesn't have traffic report so that's not the reason. I would like an app that shows the routing so I can compare the routes especially as it has taken me past some great places I like to return and visit. Thank you.

Since you're getting no responses for apps, if you really want to have a record of your journeys I would suggest you get a dashcam with a GPS function. Software is available that will display your journey on eg Google Earth or in map form. You can screen-snap the journey and store it on your computer. I did that for our holidays this year, so I have a daily record of the route we took for each stage of the holiday.
