i recently purchased a r reg vectra and its running poorly when warm.it seems to be idling badly and pulling back when accelerating also the engine management light is on permanantely and starting the car when warm you need to press the accelerator.i have had it on the computer at work and it says poss cause is linear valve position any ideas????

I`m sure it sounds like your egr valve, I had the same symptom come up on my scanner at work (vauxhall astra)and I took the egr valve off and it was stuck open.
