"Even a cursory glance at the competition in the 300C’s £40k price bracket is liable to make Chrysler’s UK sales staff squirm uneasily. The BMW 530d SE, Audi A6 3.0 TDI SE, Jaguar XF 3.0D Premium and Mercedes E350 Avantgarde all rub shoulders with the American interloper, and all are its superior by practically any conventional measure"

Out of those, I'd go straight for the Audi A6.

^^^ Netto? Surely it's more like Patel's Corner Shop in comparison to Harrods, isn't it?
Chrysler is probably the only company that makes cars which weigh a ton but which still feel as if you're driving in tinny little box! When I was 'trade plating', not a single driver I knew looked for to picking up a Chrysler.

they have a certain presence and are cheap compared to the equivalent Beamer etc but the build quality is pretty poor, especially the interior. Frankly if I had enough to buy one of these new I would use the 40K for something like this:

I bought a brand new Chrysler Neon in 2000. A nice car and very good value for money, especially as it came with an auto gearbox without extra charge
( European manufacturers please note ! )
Powerful 2 litre engine and nice to drive, but the devil of a job to sell after 3 years. I lost £1000's on it and I would never do the same again.
