TTT...but it was very good value for money.

I didn't want to pay an extra £1000 for an automatic gearbox, as I consider that a rip-off, only exceeded by the £760 that Ford wanted for my Fiesta to come in anything other than a bog standard colour ( I went for red, for no extra )

I don't have any qualms about the car, but as it was not one of the more normal makes and models, it was very difficult to sell second-hand ( 3 years old with only 32,000 miles on the clock )

I won't make that mistake again !

No that's because it was a Chrysler, I surprised the guy who sold it to could keep a straight face, wouldn't touch one with a barge pole, and if you lost thousands on it it could not be value for money either.

rover 75 is a poor mans Jag but I did used to have one
Thingers....I thought, and still think, that the Rover 75 was a smashing looking car.
Forgot to add....in 1994 I bought a nearly-new Rover 600 and was very pleased with it.

It was white and when I drove it on the Motorway, I noticed that cars in from of me slammed their brakes on and slowed down a bit !
Question Author
Yes mikey they were. I used to love mine and the white dials were brilliant
Question Author
That was on the rover 75 I mean
Thingers...going back to your thread....take one for a test drive.

I rented a similar Chrysler when I was in the States in the mid 90's and it was like driving a trawler ! Will you be able to get it onto your drive and around your streets...it would be a struggle where I live.

But if you can get one cheap enough....why not ?

There is one advertised in Autotrader for £2290 !
Question Author
Mikey I have always had and loved big cars and it will fit in the drive with inches to spare.
Also I can only parallel park big cars.
I just cannot do that with small cars for some reason

thingers...then you have a very rare skill...perhaps you can get onto Top Gear and demonstrate it !

I posted this youtube link a few days ago, but you may not have seen it before :::::

anyway, enough of this, thingers is looking for a head turning jam jar for 10k, we must be able to come up with something that isn't totally bring.
How about this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-2007-NISMO-Roadster-/191913590159?hash=item2caef0fd8f:g:Sb8AAOSwQ15XOX0q
TTT...here's another rare-ish Nissan, which I took for a test drive before buying my Qashqai a few years ago. Fabulous car and hardly any around.

Punishing fuel consumption though !
Whatever you do thingers, don't forget to update us on here please !

Now that is tasty toro but the price and mileage seems too good to be true.
Anyway was joking about this thread and I have just bought a lovely black chrysler 300c with blacked out back windows and black alloys and now got me personalised number plate on her.
Immaculate inside and out and it is a head turning mafia car lol.
I parked it the other day and when I went back there were 3 kids walking past It pointing at it and one said "nice car" and one of the others said "nice wheels"
Lovely car TTT but what would the tax and insurance be for something like that ?
I am glad for you thingers....enjoy !
Question Author
I find it much easier to park and get in the drive than the wifes ford KA. I struggle with that even though I could fit it in the boot of my 300c
As with any car...if you like it, you enjoy the drive, and the price is right...then why not. I like the 300C, it's something a little different, and from what I gather good solid engineering.
