At Christmas I had a Corsa auto as a courtesy car after my car was damaged. I believe it was a 1.2 L petrol auto. It was quite a lively little car that I thought could be a good city runabout. However, the drivers seat was the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced and as I have back trouble I could hardly walk after driving it. The minor controls were also very fiddly and complex. If I were you I would try a Ford Fiesta or VW Polo.
