I wouldn't either.
I got a taxi the other day and the driver was creepy, he locked all the doors as soon as I sat down. I didn't feel comfortable with him at all. So - driver-less cabs are not always bad.

He locked the doors so you couldn't do a runner.
ummmm - I am nearer twenty stone than ten, if I could run anywhere it would be a miracle. :-)

Driverless vehicles will happen. It's a case of when.
It's the legalities that need sorting out more so than the technology.
Who to hold responsible if something goes wrong.
