Smoking At The Wheel.
Do you think the dangers of smoking whilst driving are sufficient to warrant a ban ?

One time I picked my dad up from the pub. Sitting at traffic lights a police car pull up next to us. He beeped the horn and said my dad had to put his seat belt on.
I said...it's because he's fat, the policeman just laughed and said fat or not, it's the law....so they do police it given the opportunity. I think nowadays we'd probably be fined for it.

I can't see how a ban would be Policed ?
We have lots of existing motoring laws, like wearing seat belts, not using hand held devices, not smoking in cars with young children and as far as I can see, these are widely ignored, speeding in built-up areas, etc.
So what would be the point of have another unenforceable law ?

I agree with everything you say Mikey but point out that all mentioned points are law breaking whilst driving & should be strictly enforced to save accidents & lives no matter how difficult.
