audi a2 indicators

can anyone shed any light on why my indicator are not working correctly is a common fault???They work intermitantly more so than they should(before anyone says thats what they should do)

If they are flashing a lot faster than they should (on the dash indicator) it means one of your bulbs are not working - put them on and pop out to check, or get someone else to check while you stay on the car depending on what type of neighbourhood you are in !.

if the indicators are sometimes not working try operating the hazard light switch. if the hazard light switch is faulty it can stop the indicators working. try switching them on & off several times both gently and a bit harder & see if it makes any difference.
