Young Driver Insurance Help!
He had an accident last year on his scooter and was held responsible. No damage to his bike but the third party claim was 685.
Any tips for a reasonably priced insurance. The best I have managed to find so far is Tescos at 2100 with a 20% once hes passed his Pass Plus.

I agree with Eddiecurrent. Start off with a cheap car. A 3yr old Clio is lovely but its his first car, he has little experience and would be more peeved if he ruined his nice new car than a older one.
Start off with a cheaper car, build up NCB, then get a better car once he has more experience and confidence. I would keep away from Direct Line, I have had bad experiences with them, they suck! Try Churchill or Admiral. I used to have admiral before I sold my car and they were excellent. My partner has churchill and they are very good.
