winker prob
when i hooked up my trailer to my car, i noticed the indicator light was not working on one side. Next, i removed the cover expecting to find a damaged bulb but the two single element bulbs behind the amber manel seemed fine. Doe's anyone have an idea what the problem could be ? Thanks..

The connectors between trailer and car are prone to a lot of dirt problems, make sure all connectors are clean, socket and plug, and use plenty WD40. Check all wires are connected and check earth links. Check cable run on trailer is not frayed somewhere and earthing feed.
Aside from the internal plug connections corroding, the pins can need expanding slightly by gently sliding a thin knife between the split pin ends to make a tighter connection, don't over do it. Also take out the bulbs and clean up the base and in the lampholder as they can corrode. Spray all connections with WD40. Bulbs can look ok but be open circuit so always try a new one. Check with a lighting board that the car socket is actually working properly and watch out for squirrels!
I think, as others have said, you need to plug into another car to confirm that it's the trailer wiring thats at fault, and try all the other suggestions regarding the wiring plug.
Just in case you need it, here is the wiring code for a 7 pin plug.

Good luck
