Adblue
I am getting a Citroen Berlingo van and noticed a blue nozzle next to the fuel filler cap. On investigating I have now found out what it is, but what I need to know is where/how do I top it up? Never even heard of it before (always had old motors, and this one is a bit newer than I am used to). Don't want to look like a muppet when I collect it.

DO NOT buy it at a garage...they will charge the earth. Cheapest places I have heard to get 10l cans is screwfix or toolstation...have a google! Presumably you have got a gauge for the AdBlue tank. Don't let it run out...it can be an absolute pain to sort the system out afterwards. AdBlue does not actually go in the engine, but is used to clean up the exhaust gases. My truck uses about 15l a week, but I'm sure your van will use far less than that. You get a blue nozzle with the can to help top up the tank. If you spill any, it can leave a white residue, but this easily washes off.

I've had the van now since last May and even though I keep it topped up the Adblue warning light comes on occasionally. The first time it was still under warranty and the garage had it in for a couple of days and I think they replaced the sensor. It came on again a couple of months ago and even though you should be able to reset the warning light with buttons on the dash I couldn't get it to work. The garage charged me £30 to do it. Now its come on again - getting a bit miffed now. It tells you how far you have got left before it won't start - working down in 50 miles eg now saying I have got 300 miles left. Any advice - waiting for a specialist Citroen garage to get back to me.
