Electric Charging Points
Our local Council in their wisdom have decided to put in at least 4 electric charging points in the small car park at the local Community Centre. If when using the Centre are you allowed to use these spaces or do they sit empty awaiting someone to charge up their car

I read a day or two ago that a motorist got a fine for overstaying in a car park. He admitted that he did overstay but that was only because the electric charger was so very slow.
I think, but not 100% sure, that every public car park must allocate a percentage of bays to electric charging.

Our local council in their wisdom installed one charging point in our small town car park (which is free, long or short stay) and there is no charge for its use. Unsurprisingly some members of the community complained so they have now installed a “donations” box beside it! However, like many others across the country it now has an “Out of Order” sign on it.
