Okay, did something really silly and put a key into the cigarette lighter slot. There was a bit of a flash and I quickly took it out but there ius now (unsuprisingly) no power to it.

I have had a look at the manual but can't seem to find which fuse it would be - and also how to get to one of the fuseboxes.

Any advice greatly appreciated

They don't usually have a separate fuse for the cigar lighter, it normally shares a fuse with the interior lights, the clock and the radio. If these are still working there's a good chance the fuse hasn't blown and that the lighter unit itself is at fault.

D*mn - everything else works fine. Do I have to replace the lighter unit then? How do I do that and is it a big job?

Just in case anyone wants to know, I have figured it out.

There is a seperate fuse for the cigar lighter. It is a 15Amp fuse and on my model it is located behind the glovebox.

All working now :-)
