Trying to buy a Subaru 2.0 WRX turbo, apparently group 19 insurance, crazy money. Does anyone out there driving one getting a decent deal? (Living in Northern Ireland and max no claims)

I recently had my best quote from www.elephant.co.uk for a group 17 car, worth a look - they do a quote online too.
I have mina via Zurich Insurance at the moment. I have also found Liverpool Victoria to be reasonable. Check out www.confused.com to try a few different companies at one go. You dont say your age, or the age of the car,but these will be a big factor, if you are under 30 and the car is a newish one im not surprised its a bit stiff! If its any consolation I have known of guys in their 20s paying over 1000 a year for the priveledge of driving an Impreza! Sadly its just a fact that anything remotely interesting is going to cost big for insurance these days. All you can do is load up on security systems, keep it in a garage overnight, and get older yourself!

Had one myself and found that Tesco gave me the best price. Beleive it or not it actually cost me LESS to put my girlfriend down as a named driver! It will still cost best part of a grand though.

Good luck and have fun if you find one.
