windowscreen wipers blowing a fuse?

can anyone help my wipers on my fiat brava stopped working today so i tried to change the fuse and each time i do it blows straight away this could mean its shorting somewhere any one know where to start looking and anyone else had this problem and sorted it?

Sounds like the motor has seized, or something is stopping the motor from turning.

best place to check 1st is the wiring nearest to the linkage under the the bonnet , it may have rubbed through causing a short
