For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.no, use Araldite or a similar epoxy resin glue (2 part glue). Its the only thing that has withstood time, direct heat from the sun and general vehicle vibrations in my experience. Worka treat and nothing could remove it.
Go to B&Q or Robert Dyas. They sell it. It comes in 2 seperate tubes, that you need to mix (not all of it, just the right amount). Hardens very quickly and very hard. So you need to get it lined up right.
