Our car was left to our local garage to be serviced a 13pm

The garage called us at 10 am following morning to say the car was missing.

Who is responsible?

How to make a claim?

Well did you hand over the car and the keys to someone? if yes then they have accepted custody of the car and it should be covered by their insurance. They'll probably try and get you to claim on yours but just stand your ground.

exactly as loosehead says, if they took possesion of the car then they are responsible untill you collect it. their insurance for sure. speak to the c.a.b. who will know of a good solicitor in your area or give you advice on how to start a claim against the garage if they try to wriggle out of their responsibilities. good luck.
