Ford Fiesta 1.2 AUTO keeps stalling

Can anyone help ? I have a 1.2 Z Tech Ford Fiesta Auto which keeps stalling. When i select drive and your foot is on the brake or you are on a hill it will stall. Its worse when cold, ive been told its probably a sensor problem, although what sensor

I had this problem on my Fiesta Ghia Auto. A mechanic looked at it & found nothing wrong, did diagnostics on it which showed no fault codes. He took it out for a drive & noticed that the gear changes weren't smooth & re-adjusted something on the automatic gearbox. He said its a common problem with autos, it has been ok since, & it only cost me �20
