Lorry laws???
I work for a haulage company. One of our skip lorries was parked at the side of the road when an approaching lorry collided with the wing mirror destroying the entire unit. The other driver said the incident was as much our fault because our wing mirror was not folded in.
Is it law that when parked at the side of the road our drivers must fold there wing mirrors in?

It is just that I find it funny that a skip lorry was hit. In my experience these are some of the worst most careless drivers on the road - and I know of so many instances of peoples cars and property being damaged by skips and skip lorries - usually with the lorry just driving away afterwards.
Some of us try to take our own stuff down the dump - as and when we need to rather than save it up for the skip man.
Can you collect my skip please, this is obviously the only way to get through to you as I have been phoning all day, maybe if you spent more time doing your job and not pi#@ing around on computers all day you could have complied with my requests earlier.
I Thank You.
