Bluetooth connection
I have a bmw convertible 54 plate & in all the paperwork that came with the car is a bluetooth number, can anybody advise how to match this system with my nokia phone. The car has a m/f/s/wheel with the necessary button for it's control of the said equipment.I would prefer to use this than the earpiece type at present. Thanx.

1st press the bluetooth pair button (it looks like a speaker and it is near the cradle in the centre console) keep the button pressed and turn the ignition on, keep it pressed for about 2 seconds and release it. it should now say BTPAIRING on the radio display. the car is now ready to receive a device. goto your phone and switch on bluetooth, the next menu on the bluetooth menu is "search for audio devices" open it and it will search, it will find your car and display the last seven digits from your cars chassis number. Click on it and it will ask you for the pass code, enter the code and it will inform you it is paired, it will then disconnect. switch the ignition off for about 10 seconds and the switch the ignition back on and it will connect to your phone. There is a phone manual that should have come with your car but they do get missed sometimes. hope you can understand this and problems reply back. Col
