My car died a while back (overheated, head gasket went - grrrr!). I have just got it back and now the CD that was in the player won't come out (I have a player where you detach the front). Have tried pressing the reset button but all that did was reset all of my radio stations that I had spent the morning re-programming! Any ideas!?

is there a tiny hole by the CD (similar to a PC disc tray) ? if so have you tried putting a pin or similar in which may release the disc ?

disconnect from the power and then reconnect. the system should detect the cd and reject it because it is not part of the standard set up.

or, you could try putting in another cd, keeping hold of it and this will really **** off the unit and it may just reject the one already inside!!

Thanks guys, looked for the tiny hole and it doesn't exist - I assume that is the reset button that I tried (that is embedded and I had to use a pin to press it), have also tried putting another CD in - it managed to fit over the one that was in there - good job I kept hold of it! So the only thing left is to disconnect the power I suppose and see if that works!
