Upon starting my van puts out an almighty smoke screen. You can hardly see the van for the smoke but when the engine is hot the smoke clears.. A friend thinks a heater on one of the cylinders is faulty and that is causing the smoke, Could this be the cause?

Sounds like the injectors are worn out and require to be replaced for a new set.
