how do i find the code for my PIONEER DEH-2096zrn radio as i have no book or any info to go with it

you dont say whether the radio is original equipment supplied with the car.
i had a similar problem on an audi that i owned (purchased second hand) i contacted my local dealership and by giving them the reg no they were able to supply the code (at no cost and over the telephone!)
