My advice would be to take the car into a couple of local independent bodyshop repair garages and ask for a quote from each. It might not seem as expensive as it sounds. Also, if you can, avoid paying for the repairs through your insurance company because then your monthly premiums won't be affected.
I was in a similar situation at the beginning of the year with my Corsa (I had a small collision with a hedge). It needed a new bumper, new wing (the panel over the front wheel), new lights, new fog light, new windscreen, a few dents taken out and repainted. The total bill , paid direct to the garage not through my insurance, was roughly �720.00 which I thought was not too bad.
